Huge reduction in non-teaching hours of school teachers

AMID a reduction in the amount of time Thai teachers spent on non-teaching activities last year. They hoped the number of days spent on non-teaching activities would come down to 35-40 days this year.

2011-2015 QLF initiatives in Education

From the cabinet’s resolution of 11 January 2011, QLF agreed on a 2011-15 work plan to reform Thai Education under the concept of “For an equal and just Thailand of the future.” One of the main tasks is to create a good future for the country through human development, especially the development of children and youth.

Good Teachers Campaign

Quality Learning Foundation (QLF) has just launched a new campaign aiming to promote good teaching. It coincides with a government plan which has declared 2011 a year of teacher development.

2010 QLF initiatives in Education

QLF is supporting 227 school projects across Thailand under the themes of effective learning and teaching, efficiency for school management and healthy schools and students. More than 1,000 teachers will be participating in building capacity and 115, 253 students will benefit under this program.
